  • This Mother's Day Support The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

    No mom-to-be should be forced to choose between her health and her family's economic security.  And although many pregnant women don't need any changes on the job, some do — and for those women, the stakes are high.

    This common-sense legislation would make unmistakably clear that employers must make reasonable accommodations when workers have a medical need for them because of pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions — just as the law already clearly requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for medical needs arising out of disabilities.

    Show your support of pregnant workers by urging your Senators to co-sponsor the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.
