The Constitution requires that local chapters shall adopt bylaws. These bylaws must be in conformity with the Constitution of CLUW.

Chapter bylaws shall specify dues, with a minimum of $1.00 per member per year.

Chapters shall provide, in their bylaws, the following provision no later that 1991: Chapter dues shall be due and payable in __________ of each year.

Election of Chapter Officers and/or the Governing body shall be conducted in the month of March. The term of office shall be governed by Chapter bylaws

Annual reports of activities, membership and finances shall be sent by the Chapter President to the National CLUW office with a copy to the State vice-president or Coordinator.

CHAPTER COMMITTEES

  • Chapters shall establish standing chapter committees. Active committees are crucial to a local chapter. The Chapter President should appoint committee chairpersons.

  • The committees and task forces established as well as their functions should be reflected in the local Chapter bylaws.

  • All committees and task forces are open to any member of the CLUW chapter
