Membership is the critical force that gives
CLUW its power and direction. Thousands of committed activists

Categories
of membership:
New Member - $35 annually
A Regular Member joining for the first time. The New Member rate is for the first year only.
Regular
Member - $50 annually
Must be
a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining
organization
Must be
a national member of CLUW to join a local
CLUW chapter
Regular
membership will be "at-large," if in an area where
no local CLUW chapter exists
Single
union designation must be made for national CLUW membership,
even if a person belongs to more than one union
Entitled
to full voting rights and participation in CLUW policy decisions
Associate
Member - $50 annually
Supporter
of CLUW who is not represented by a union or other collective
bargaining organization
Union
member on long-term lay off who is no longer considered a
member of a particular union
Must be
a national member of CLUW to join a local
CLUW chapter
Contributing
Member - $75 annually
Must be
a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining
organization
Entitled
to full voting rights and participation in CLUW policy decisions
Supporting
Member - $100 annually
Must be
a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining
organization
Entitled
to full voting rights and participation in CLUW policy decisions
Sustaining
Member - $150 annually
Must be
a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining
organization
Entitled
to full voting rights and participation in CLUW policy decisions
Lifetime Member - $1,000 (one-time fee)
Must be a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining organization

Retiree
Member - $15 annually
Must be
a member in good standing of a union or other collective bargaining
organization
Must be
a national retiree member of CLUW to join a local CLUW chapter
Retiree

Student
Member - $15 annually
Student
supporter of CLUW who is not represented by a collective bargaining
organization
Unemployed Member - $15 annually
In a collective bargaining situation but temporarily laid off, unable to work due to a hurricane, etc.
IMPORTANT:
To join
a local CLUW chapter, you
first must be a national CLUW member and then pay chapter
dues (which are determined by each chapter).
Any applicant, other than a student, who does not indicate
specific union membership on the CLUW membership application
will be classified as an Associate Member.
