This Mother's Day Support The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

No mom-to-be should be forced to choose between her health and her family's economic security. And although many pregnant women don't need any changes on the job, some do — and for those women, the stakes are high.
This common-sense legislation would make unmistakably clear that employers must make reasonable accommodations when workers have a medical need for them because of pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions — just as the law already clearly requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for medical needs arising out of disabilities.
