Dr. Caine is the Director of the Marion County Health Department (Indianapolis), who had just received news that her federal funding was cut by $400k. She and her staff were in DC the same day CLUW was lobbying, joining health professionals from around the country lobbying against Medicare/Medicaid cuts.
